Atlas Shrugged

Not completely finished yet, but getting there.
This is a painting of an excellent pencil sketch I found online, not entirely sure where but I give full credit to the original concept, which I should list as soon as I find it.
I started this after I read Atlas shrugged; the image is such a powerful one i have been doing a whole series of different ones I might post up here, but this is the colour one. Acrylic paint on canvas, as I said not finished yet, but it depicts the Titan Atlas shrugging, throwing the weight off his shoulders at last. It's an evocative image that I've been struggling to capture for some time; still not sure i have the back right, but i'll be working on that more later.
